Husband and wife duo Dylan James and Michelle Byrne will capture your heart with their earthy blend of contemporary folk, blues and roots.

Dylan's highly regarded harmonica blowin’ and skilful precision around the fret board meld wonderfully with Michelle's sweet talents on mandolin. With the addition of their Woodskin Cajun drum as a percussive rhythmic base, The Wandering Minstrels deliver a full and diverse sound.

As a solo artist, Dylan has performed and busked his way around the country. With his unique ability to capture your attention, he promotes awareness towards humanity’s place within the circle of life.

Michelle's musical background includes many years as a solo performer and as a member of several different bands, including an original trio, a Celtic band, a Medieval band, jazz choir, and an Australian Bush Band. She has toured Scotland and Ireland with her Celtic duo Maher Nighean.

The Wandering Minstrels debut EP ‘Intimate Universal Encounter’ is a taste of this duo’s beautifully crafted sound. Their music has been well received during live performances at various festivals around the nation, including The Adelaide Fringe Festival, Fleurieu Folk Festival and The National Folk Festival. A recent highlight for the duo was performing on the Indian Pacific Railway journey from WA to SA.
